Is Blog Herald Up For Sale?

Jeremy Wright is teasing us with the news that he’s handling the biggest blog sale in recorded history. He will, he says, give us more information tomorrow.

The asking price is around $40,000, a fairly modest price in terms of the hype. So what’s the betting?

I’m rapidly reaching the conclusion that this could be Blog Herald. I’ve not had a reply to my email to Duncan, so can’t be sure. But he’s recently gone full-time as a problogger and indications from the comments on Ensight point to this. Blog Herald is currently on the b5media server, and Jeremy is President. Yep, makes sense. I may be wrong, but there you go.

Duncan, you’re welcome to shoot this down in the comments. Or, indeed, confirm it.

Update: Why hasn’t Blog Herald posted on this blog story? This is rapidly becoming a shoo in.

Update: I now know the name of the blog in question. It’s still embargoed, so I can’t divulge the name. As soon as it’s cleared for announcement, I’ll run a piece on it. Stay tuned. It could be today.

  1. Sounds expensive – depends on the monthly income though

  2. The sum of $2000 is being mentioned, Matt.

  3. Then $40k is WAY too much money.

    Matt

  4. I hear bids are already way over that.

  5. I heard otherwise.

  6. I’ll confirm the bidding, but not the blog. Bids are over 40K. “Way” is too subjective, but yes the bids are over 40K (though we do have a couple of low-ball bids, which may be what you heard about Matt).
