Goodbye Cowboy: Fine Fool and Knave

Unkown Personage
Could this be a rare sighting of Cowboy at JOAB Labs?

So, Hopalong Cassidy Cowboy at JOAB finally bows out from his spitting and snarling gig at the Fine Fools network with a line from the Sound of Music. Could he really be Julie Andrews in cognito?

Reading him these past weeks has been like having to feed a liver-damaged porcupine at the zoo. Not for the faint of heart. Those of us who persevered did so not from “celebrity” worship but rather as a scientific obo of that Internet phenomenon, the Shock Jock blogger.

Did we waste our time? It seems so. David Krug, aka Angelina, aka … the Count of Monte Christo, aka PS, has now departed to his own spot in the grimelight called, Cow.BoySpoke.com.

You have been warned.

  1. Ahh… I guess I just don’t follow the blogosphere news enough. I didn’t know who that was (other than that I see he posted down there). At first I thought you’d lost your mind because that cat doesn’t look anything like a cowboy.

I don’t suspect I’ll be reading him at his new home or at his old one. I don’t like shock jocks on the radio and I don’t think I’d like the blog version of them either. It’s just not very creative or interesting, in my book. But hey, to each their own If it works for him, more power.

  2. You’re right, Matt. I think most of us were trying to figure out who he really is.

  3. that’s right, cowboy’s my bitch now. and spoke media will never be the same.

  5. Upon further review, the cat pic is funny.

  6. I think it’s hilarious. :-)

  7. Well, now he works for us. And we’re damn happy about it.

  8. Thanks for the info, Matt (BlogNetworkWatch). BTW your feed hasn’t been working in Bloglines, so I’ve missed a lot of your posts. I got some of them through Google Alerts, though. I now see you’ve switched to Feedburner. Problem solved :-)

  9. [...] Various entries on Dec. 29th and Dec. 30th tell us that Cowboy has joined the Spoke Family. Girlspoke, Syntagma and CowBoySpoke itself. To his dismay, he is almost flat broke, with only a quarter to his name. He’s going to pay Kukral - how? Yet, he’s asking for writers to join his new network. [...]
