Make the World Better.org

Announcing a new Syntagma Media blog on the way.

Sometime before Christmas, we’ll be launching Make the World Better ~ MakeWorldBetter.org.

The subject speaks for itself, and we’ll be calling on everyone to send in suggestions and advice.

Just in time for Christmas.

Update: This site is now up. Visit here: Make The World Better.

  1. But… but… where do yo ufind the time to write all these blogs? ;)

I’ll have a look at it when it launches.

  2. Ha ha, you’ve put your finger on it, Yzabel. Actually, MWB will be collaborative. I’m hoping lots of people will write pieces for it, including celebrities and politicians. Next week I’m inviting anyone who wants to, to write how they would “make the world better”, and maybe put a snippet on their blogs asking others to contribute. We could go live in the runup to Christmas with scores of posts. The headline will be “Send a Christmas Message to the world”.

What do you think? Would you like to contribute?

  3. Blogging counts as something we’re doing to make the world better, doesn’t it?

  4. It certainly does. If you’d like to contribute a post, see the b5 email I’ve just sent out. :-)

  5. I may contribute, it just depends on whether I still have my sanity left in the Christmas period :D

(However, I suppose I should leave my suggestions of “let’s eradicate the human race from the surface of Earth” outside of this? ;) (j/k) )

  6. I know the feeling. :-)

However, if you want to contribute, it could be on, say, how vector graphics will change the world for the better. Why not?

The pieces have to be in by early next week to be published by Christmas. It needn’t be long, it’s not a Pulitzer Prize entry, but it may have a bigger audience than many realize. You can add a link to your blog too.

  7. What a wonderful idea, John. I would imagine if folks just kept it simple, this could be a nice central collection of ideas and inspiration. After all, isn’t the world made better via small personal things done by individuals rather than earth-shattering concepts and ideas?

  8. Absolutely right, Mark. Why not make a contribution before Christmas. Just sent it to John (at) SyntagmaMedia (dot) com.
